Olvasói vélemények összefoglalója
Readers found Things I Wanted to Say highly absorbing, with several describing it as difficult to put down despite its deliberately uncomfortable subject matter. The intense central relationship creates plenty of emotional tension, though its toxic and troubling dynamics made the protagonists difficult for some readers to like.
The gradual character development and layered mystery were praised, while opinions varied on the amount of sexual content: some found it well judged, whereas others felt it was excessive. The book was also criticized for its considerable length and occasionally uneven characterization, and some readers felt it did not fully deliver as a dark romance. It will appeal most to readers seeking an intense, mature enemies-to-lovers romance with a dramatic atmosphere, but may frustrate those wanting a more balanced relationship or a faster pace.

A Things I Wanted to Say egyik fő motívuma a napló, ami végig ott lebeg a történet felett, mint egy időzített bomba.
