The Deal

Én is azok közé tartozom, akik előbb látták a sorozatot, és teljesen beszippantott, úgyhogy természetesen nem bírtam ki, hogy ne kezdjem el a könyveket is.
Először magyarul kezdtem el olvasni, de sajnos a fordítás számomra annyira magyartalan és helyenként cringe volt, hogy végül átváltottam az angol verzióra. (És ez egyébként az első könyv, amit valaha angolul olvastam.)
A maga kategóriájában nagyon tetszett. Gyorsan és könnyen olvastatta magát. Bár alapvetően egy romantikus college hockey sztori, szerintem nem merült ki egy sekélyes szerelmi összefonódásban. A karaktereknek tényleg volt személyiségük, hátterük és mélységük, és jó volt látni, hogy nem csak a kapcsolatuk körül forog minden.
Hannah és Garrett is szerethetőek voltak, és külön tetszett, hogy mindkettőjüknek megvoltak a saját problémái és motivációi.
Összességében nagyon élveztem és tökéletes comfort read volt.

Könnyed limonádé.Tetszett a jellemfejlődés,hogy a szereplők nem egysíkúak,képesek változni.

Normally I'd read the book first and then watch the TV adaptation. But this time I did it the other way around.

I loved the show so had high expectations amd I loved this book.

Obviously some things are different from the show. Like Hannah kissing Dean instead of Logan, Justin being a football player instead of a musician, or when Hannah gets her paper back and she's got an A in the book Nell sits beside her in the show it's dexter sat with her.

I found a part in chapter 8 particularly funny Hannah describing Garrett as "drop dead gorgeous and more popular than Justin Bieber. At least before Beebs went off the rails." I also loved in chapter 12 Hannah tells Nell that her and Garrett are kinda friends and Garrett interrupts by saying "theres no kinda. We're best friends."

I loved that Garrett made the hands-off campus wide rule and how proud he was of it. Thats something I wished they'd included. I know it was in the show but he denied making the rumour.

I also really liked when they was in the car on the way back from thanksgiving when they was in the back. And he stops because he hears story of my life by one direction and asks Hannah if she added it back to the playlist.

Oh, also I hate Phil Graham.
