Olvasói vélemények összefoglalója
Readers broadly admire Sense and Sensibility for its elegant prose, refined humor, and thoughtful exploration of the tension between reason and emotion. Many found it warm, romantic, emotionally engaging, and especially memorable for the contrast between its two central sisters and the strength of their relationship.
The period atmosphere, social conventions, family dynamics, and Austen’s subtle irony were frequent highlights, while the layered misunderstandings and carefully revealed information kept many readers curious. Some readers found the long sentences, formal language, and drawn-out descriptions difficult or slow to get through, and a few felt the secondary characters could be irritating or that the novel was less compelling than Austen’s other work. Overall, it is best suited to readers who enjoy character-driven historical romance, witty social observation, and a measured, classic reading experience.

Értelem és érzelem
Jane Austen
