Wallace & Gromit in a Close Shave

A Close Shave is an English language teaching adaptation of Nick Park's OscarŽ-winning animated film aimed at pre-intermediate level learners. In this exciting adventure Wallace and Gromit get caught up with sheep rustlers and have a narrow escape. Their lives become complicated with the arrival of an uninvited guest, Shaun the sheep. Then Wallace falls for Wendolene, the owner of a wool shop, and they encounter Preston, her evil cyberdog. The video will appeal to all ages and will be a motivating force in any classroom. The video is supported by an accompanying Student's Book offering full exploitation of the video, related language exercises, a transfer section, vocabulary building activities, a grammar summary and transcript. There is a separate Teacher's Book containing guidance on using the video and an answer key.
