Readers are divided on A Court of Thorns and Roses, especially regarding its pacing. Many found the opening slow, uneventful, or difficult to get into, while others felt the gradual setup effectively built anticipation. Once the story gains momentum, however, numerous readers describe it as absorbing, emotional, and difficult to put down.
The richly imagined world, romantic atmosphere, magic, and vivid descriptions are frequent highlights, with several readers praising the emotional intensity and the memorable supporting cast. Feyre is admired by many for her bravery and determination, though some found her irritating, inexperienced, or insufficiently developed, and opinions on the central relationships and male characters vary considerably. Common criticisms include predictable or familiar elements, an overly romantic focus for some tastes, occasional dull stretches, and, in one review, concerns about the writing or translation. Overall, it seems best suited to readers who enjoy character-driven fantasy romance and are willing to be patient with a slow-building first act.
Kíváncsi vagyok a folytatásra!

Nekem szörnyen lassan indult be a sztori.
